Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years experience as a board certified counselor and have worked extensively with women, teens and children in various practice settings. I am also Mom to 7 amazing kids (two adopted) and have weathered many of the challenges and stressors of life. This gives me the ability to empathize deeply with my clients' struggles and know firsthand that change is possible!

My approach to therapy

As a Christian, my faith informs all of my clinical work and my approach is Biblically based. However, I have successfully worked with various backgrounds and whether you have faith or no faith, you are welcome! As a seasoned practitioner, I use evidence based techniques that match unique client needs. My special interests are anxiety disorders, life adjustment, healing from trauma, recovery from abuse, parenting, adoption, and grief and loss.

What you can expect from me

I want to help you find peace and hope! In our first session I strive to create a welcoming environment where I can get to know your story and your goals for therapy. We then collaborate to make those goals a reality. My aim is that you leave our session empowered and ready to begin the journey of change, healing, and growth
