Great to meet you!

I believe that everyone has the ability to create a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. I have been in healthcare for over 40 years and a practicing psychologist for almost 30 years. I am now currently focusing my practice on adults that want to discover more about themselves and are willing to do the work to overcome negative patterns of thinking and implement strategies for enhancing positive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I have a mission. That mission is to recognize and enhance the unique brilliance in every person with whom I have contact. That includes you. It is my desire to assist you to move toward a deeper and more satisfying connection with yourself and the world around you.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an integrated approach to therapy that includes both interactive and challenging conversation, homework, and mindfulness techniques. My interventions draw primarily from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT), Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), and Energy Psychology Techniques such as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

I am particularly excited to work with clients experiencing sleep difficulties, stress, anxiety, performance anxiety, writer's block, grief, and situational depression.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to work just as hard for you as you work for yourself. I generally recommend a frequency of every 3-5 weeks, giving you time to implement the practices that we are talking about and to observe the benefits.

I am continually challenging myself to become the very best version of myself. That is also my challenge to you, and I look forward to seeing your success.
