Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Houston, Texas. I have a Master of Education in Counseling & Development – Marriage, Couple & Family Counseling. I see a wide range of clients with varying issues and disorders. Many of the clients I see come in with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, grief, social identity issues, and relationship problems. I utilize a systemic lens when listening to clients, recognizing people do not exist in isolation and the client’s surroundings may contribute to the client’s dilemma.
My previous career as a corporate security investigations professional has allowed me to excel in the areas of critical thinking and problem solving. I understand that counseling is not a one-size-fits-all journey and will work with each client to find what works best for their unique needs. I believe that everyone can change, heal, and grow with some guidance. I am passionate about working with marginalized populations. I am currently a board member of Montrose Grace Place where we work to give back to the vulnerable youth experiencing homelessness, including a large portion within the LGBTQ+ community in Houston.
