I work to get to know my client's, to understand where they are coming from, and to provide feedback with a goal to promote healing and positive change. I draw on my 37 years of work in this counseling, and multiple levels of education.
I focus on listening, and assessment aimed at understanding. I approach counseling from understanding what promotes healing, positive change, revitalization, and what can hinder this.
Expect to share and participate in verbalizing your needs, goals, and experience. Expect me to do my best to listen, and to ask questions to gain a deeper understanding about you. I will also provide feedback and guidance as needed.
