Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 16+ years of professional therapy experience. I completed my Master’s degree at Bethel University. I enjoy working with individuals who struggle with relationship issues, history of trauma, abuse, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, etc.

I am passionate about equipping individuals with tools and coping strategies that can help them get unstuck from problem behaviors, debilitating fears, the effects of trauma, etc.

I also bring a wealth of life experiences that deepen my compassion and broaden my understanding of people and their concerns.

My approach to therapy

I draw from my experience in Family Systems and attachment-based therapy models. Guided by the unique needs of each client, I utilize interventions from a Emotion-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, etc.

As a Christian, I provide faith-based counseling for those who wish to incorporate their faith, scriptures, prayer, and Biblical principles into their treatment.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, my clients are welcomed with a warm, nonjudgmental style that allows them to quickly feel safe and supported. I listen, respectfully gather information, and help clients share their needs and what they hope to accomplish during therapy. As treatment progresses, I check in with clients to ensure that therapy is targeting their needs and is effective to help the client reach their goals.
