Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 16+ years of professional experience. I completed my Master’s degree at Bethel University. I work with individuals who struggle with relationship issues, trauma, abuse, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, etc.

My approach to therapy

I draw from my education and experience in family systems and attachment-based theoretical models. Guided by the unique needs of each client, I utilize interventions from a variety of therapeutic models including Emotion-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, etc. As a Christian, I also provide Christian Counseling for those who wish to incorporate their faith, scriptures, prayer, and Biblical principles into their treatment.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients will clarify what they hope to accomplish during treatment; then together we will identify specific treatment goals. I teach clients practical tools, strategies and skills that empower them to maintain the positive changes they achieve. As treatment progresses, I check in with clients to ensure that therapy is targeting their needs and is effective to help the client reach their goals.
