Great to meet you!

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to make sense of their experiences and move toward the life they want. My own experiences with growth and change have taught me how powerful therapy can be when you feel truly understood, and that perspective shapes how I show up with each client.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been in practice for six years. During that time, I’ve worked with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and stress management. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered techniques.

Clients often describe my style as compassionate and down-to-earth. I strive to create an environment where you can feel heard, gain insight, and develop practical tools to support lasting change both in and outside of therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in genuine connection. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. I work to understand each person’s unique story and tailor my methods to fit their specific needs and goals.

I often draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered approaches to help clients develop awareness, build coping skills, and create lasting shifts in how they relate to themselves and others. I view therapy as a partnership—one where curiosity, compassion, and practical strategies come together to support growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to create a comfortable and welcoming space where you can start to share what’s been bringing you to therapy, at whatever pace feels right for you. We’ll spend some time getting to know each other, discussing what’s been going on in your life, and identifying what you’d like to focus on in therapy.

I’ll also ask some background questions to get a fuller picture of your experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we’ll begin to outline what our work might look like and set intentions for your progress. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and a little more hopeful about the path ahead.
