Great to meet you!

I'm a mental health and addictions counselor with over 11 years of experience. I work with individuals and couples on a wide range of issues. For individuals, I offer support with anxiety, depression, trauma, panic attacks, OCD, attachment wounds, life transitions, and substance use. In my work with couples, I help partners navigate challenges such as poor communication, loss of trust or intimacy, differing goals, financial disagreements, and recurring conflict. If you're ready to make meaningful changes in your life, I'm here to walk with you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

In my work with individuals, my main focus is the therapeutic relationship and an insight-oriented process. Research shows that the therapeutic alliance is a key factor in successful therapy, and it remains the one thing chatbots, apps, and self-help books can’t replace. My approach is therefore humanistic and psychodynamic. With empathy, acceptance, and compassion, I help you explore the patterns that have kept you stuck and foster the insight needed to finally break free.

In my work with couples, I offer Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT). Backed by decades of research, this approach helps partners understand the deeper emotional patterns driving conflict and disconnection. We will work together to help you rebuild emotional safety, strengthen connection, and create more secure and satisfying ways of relating.

What you can expect from me

You can expect leaving a session feeling heard, understanding your emotions in a new light or at a greater depth, and having insights as to why your mind functions the way it does and how to improve it's functioning. You can also expect to come away learning new tools or concepts that you can use in your everyday day life to cope with it's challenges.
