Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I bring both deep personal and professional experience to our work together. As a mother, wife, and sister, I understand the importance of support and connection in mental health. I am especially passionate about perinatal mental health and addiction medicine, areas where I’ve dedicated significant focus and care. I am a professional member of both Postpartum Support International and the American Society of Addiction Medicine, through which I have obtained certifications and additional specialized training.

My journey began with nearly a decade at the bedside as a BSN RN, followed by completing my MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health at the University of Pennsylvania. I then enhanced my expertise through an advanced psychiatric/behavioral health fellowship at ChristianaCare, Delaware’s largest healthcare system, where I built strong ties to local community resources. I primarily work with adults aged 18 to 65, and I am committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

My approach to therapy

In sessions, I prioritize building a warm and personable relationship, creating a safe space where clients feel truly comfortable and heard. I take a holistic approach, considering all aspects of their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. At the same time, I integrate the latest evidence-based practices tailored individually to each client’s unique needs and goals, ensuring that the care they receive is both compassionate and highly effective.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling understood and supported, with a clearer sense of their own strengths and challenges. They’ll gain personalized strategies grounded in the latest research to help manage their mental health more effectively. Beyond practical tools, clients will experience a genuine connection and increased confidence in navigating their journey toward well-being, knowing their care is tailored specifically to them.
