Great to meet you!

I view therapy as an opportunity to give yourself the time and space to discover how to heal, and how you want to continue to grow.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with individual adults who are seeking support with past and present trauma, depression, anxiety and worry, cultural and identity issues, relationship issues, grief and loss, social-emotional issues, and family conflict.

My approach to therapy

Usually therapy delves into our life stories, our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. The part we often forget to address is how our experiences live in our bodies. I use an integrated model with a focus on treating trauma in individuals, using Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. This means I will guide you in exploring what your body can teach us about you, and from there we will collaborate to find specific tools that will empower you to create and live the life you want to be living.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help people understand themselves, and the people they love, so they can be more intentional about the kinds of relationships they are a part of, and the lives they want to live.

I believe it's possible to unlearn what no longer serves us, and to practice new ways of thinking, relating, communicating, and being. I look forward to engaging in this journey with you. Please reach out to see if what I offer is a good fit for your needs/goals.
