Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Maribel Aheran, a neurodivergent, licensed mental health therapist and Certified Autism Specialist dedicated to helping individuals finally get answers. Drawing from my background as a K-12 special education staffing coordinator and counselor, I specialize in adult Autism and ADHD evaluations. Every day, I assess, identify, plan, educate, and build strong therapeutic alliances. Moving past "the tip of the iceberg," I use advanced pattern recognition and differential diagnosis to find underlying issues, equipping clients with targeted psychoeducation and the exact tools they need.

My approach to therapy

I provide expert, trauma-informed mental health evaluations and treatment for neurodivergent adults across FL, MA, MD, PA, OR, and WA State. As an EMDR-trained clinician, I use an integrative, holistic trauma therapy approach tailored specifically for neurodivergent individuals navigating trauma histories, OCD, social and performance anxiety, and burnout.

What you can expect from me

Beyond the degrees and certifications, I am an empathetic, relatable, and compassionate therapist who understands that seeking answers takes immense courage. I pride myself on being easy to talk to, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can truly be yourself. I am genuinely invested in your journey, and I look forward to meeting with you soon!
