Great to meet you!

Therapy provides a space for reflection, growth, and meaningful change. It offers an opportunity to better understand recurring patterns, navigate difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. My role is to provide a thoughtful, supportive, and collaborative environment where this process can unfold with openness, curiosity, and purpose.

I am a psychotherapist, educator, and consultant with over 12 years of experience helping adults navigate emotional, relational, and life challenges. My professional background includes work in community mental health, higher education, private practice, and immigration-related mental health services.

I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity development, and immigration-related stress. I also have extensive experience supporting professionals, graduate students, caregivers, and helping professionals who often find themselves caring for others while neglecting their own well-being.

I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity development, and immigration-related stress. My approach is both compassionate and thoughtful, helping clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves while also developing practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in recurring patterns, or simply looking for greater clarity and fulfillment, I aim to provide a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I integrate psychodynamic and insight-oriented perspectives with practical, evidence-based interventions to help clients better understand themselves, navigate challenges more effectively, and create lasting change.

Together, we will explore the patterns, relationships, emotions, and experiences that shape your life. While we may focus on immediate concerns, we will also examine deeper themes that may be contributing to ongoing difficulties. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence in moving forward.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant personal history, and goals, while also addressing any questions you may have about therapy.

My style is thoughtful, engaging, and nonjudgmental. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. Together, we will identify areas of focus and develop a plan that feels meaningful and achievable. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead.
