Great to meet you!

Every person possess a capacity for Self-Healing which can become blocked, weakened or disrupted by stress, trauma, injury, and physical illness.

-

In Mind-Body Healing, "plasticity" refers to our flexibility, adaptability, and resilience -- our ability to bounce back, pick ourselves up and move forward. Stress and trauma can reduce our resilience and restrict our ability to stretch (grow), bend, and adapt to changes in our lives, mates, work and relationships.

  • Stress can block the flow of positive energy we give and receive at home and work, even with those we love. Repeated stress or traumatic experiences in childhood and adult life can shift our personal energy from positive to negative, weakening optimism and darkening one's outlook. Left unchecked, stress can permanently lock-in negative beliefs, feelings and expectations, make us tense and rigid, and block bounce-back, resilience needed to return to normal growth, balance and happiness.

-

STRESS FACTS

We have been taught to minimize stress because its effects can remain hidden until they erupt in serious physical, emotional, and psychological disorders and diseases.

-

Stress can overwhelm and lock-up our adaptability and drain us of optimism and the energies which make life flow like water, music, or the soothing voice of a friend.

Stress can imbalance ("dysregulate") brain and nervous system function, making it difficult to regain your balance, positive energy, and your ability to bounce-back from stress, illness or injury.

My approach to therapy

My clients seek practical, effective solutions to their needs, concerns and problems – not philosophies or ideologies.

I use advanced Mind-Body-Brain therapies drawn from my 30+ years of experience in healthcare and neuroscience research, far more powerful and effective than the usual therapies popular among masters-entry level therapists.

-

Over my 3+ decades of practice I saw the need to improve or replace outdated or poorly conceived therapies (e.g., EMDR) with more powerful therapeutic technologies.

-

In additional to conventional counseling therapies, I offer:

:

--Rhythm Focused Therapy brings your mind and body back into their natural balance and alignment.

Schema Therapy (for negative scripts from childhood experiences)

--Energy Balance Psychology (ask me) to reduce negative energies undermine the self and weaken relationships.

--COOLSTIM Vagus Nerve Stimulation to reduce nervous system hyper-activation caused by stress and all of the disorders that stress causes; COOLSTIM calms and steady's over brain rhythms.

--Stress Point Therapy: for daily symptoms of Anxiety & Depression, ADD, Brain Fog, OCD, and PTSD.

--NEAR3 -- Neuro-Energy Activated Release, Repair, and Restore -- is used to unlock frozen neurocircuits that keep us chained to distressing thoughts, feelings and behavior.

What you can expect from me

PSYCH FACTS::

Most psychological "disorders" are actually symptoms of stress caused, triggered, intensified, or prolonged by stress. This is why stress should be the main focus, especially since it is often misunderstood and minimized.

-- "It's just stress," they say.

But prolonged exposure to stress can destroy one's peace, happiness, health, relationships and life.

REALITY: Unresolved stress can leave you stuck in repetitive patterns of thoughts, feelings and behavior: anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, panic, ADD/ADHD, relationship difficulties, insomnia, sexual issues, etc.

Being stuck is the hallmark of stress-disrupted neurocircuits in the brain that have lost their normal flexibility and adaptability to new learning situations and challenges.

The stressed-inflamed brain is stuck in a repeating cycle -- like the movie Groundhog Day.

I will work to help you reclaim your life from stress, and bring your Inner Self-Healer back online with all of the energy, optimism, enthusiasm and tools s/he needs to reveal, recover, and restore your Real SELF.
