My approach to therapy is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where we can build a strong therapeutic relationship. I will support you through our collaborative work in addressing harm, developing healthy coping strategies, and facilitating healing. Together, we will explore your feelings and behaviors in ways that empower you to make positive and lasting change.
My primary treatment model begins with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a skill-based and educational approach that teaches practical tools for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and building resilience. With over 20 years of training and experience in DBT, I guide clients in developing skills they can carry into daily life.
I also integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which helps you connect with your inner strengths while compassionately exploring the different “parts” of yourself that may hold pain, fear, or unmet needs. By combining DBT’s structure and skill-building with IFS’s depth and self-compassion, I aim to support you in creating balance, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
