Great to meet you!

I provide telehealth therapy to adults in Oklahoma, North Carolina, Washington, Florida, and South Carolina, and approach my work through a multicultural lens. I tailor treatment to each person’s unique background, experiences, and goals. Many clients come to me after feeling frustrated by past therapy that felt passive or unclear. My style is engaged and solutions-oriented, offering thoughtful feedback while helping clients set meaningful goals and feel empowered to work toward lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is focused on helping clients change self-destructive patterns by first examining how they think. As a cognitive-behavioral therapist, I work with the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to support meaningful change. I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs—such as assuming others are judging them or viewing themselves as failures—so those thoughts no longer drive their actions.

I also place strong emphasis on strengths and resilience. Drawing from positive psychology and motivational interviewing, I support clients in reframing how they see themselves and in using difficult emotions like anger or sadness as signals for growth rather than obstacles. I believe change happens when people feel empowered, understood, and capable—and I work collaboratively with clients to help them build the confidence and skills needed to move forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. We’ll spend time getting to know what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you hope will change. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, offer feedback, and work with you to begin identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Therapy with me is collaborative and active. Rather than simply listening quietly, I engage with you and help you clarify goals, build insight, and develop practical strategies you can begin using right away. Each person already has strengths and resilience within them, and my role is to help you recognize, access, and build on those qualities so you can move forward with greater confidence and direction.
