Great to meet you!

I create a warm, empathetic space where you feel safe to explore, question, and process life circumstances without judgment. I'm passionate about helping you increase self-awareness and discover your most authentic self in an environment that honors self-expression and self-acceptance.

My client focus

I work with individuals who want to navigate their mental health by seeking deeper self-awareness and healthier relationships with self and others. I help you build a positive relationship with yourself, which enhances connections with others. For couples, I focus on relationship dynamics, improving understanding of each other, and creating stronger bonds.

My communication style

I practice active listening so you feel truly heard. You're encouraged to explore all your thoughts and feelings without interruption. I avoid closed-ended questions and invite you to take responsibility for the direction of our sessions, fostering healthier communication and deeper self-exploration.

How I help clients reach goals

Goal setting is collaborative, involving you, your family as applicable, and the treatment team. We identify goals based on your current concerns and what you aim to achieve. Both immediate and future goals focus on problem resolution, with ongoing appraisal to ensure we're meeting your needs.

My journey to becoming a provider

I came into psychiatric nursing to give back to a profession that helped my family care for someone I loved deeply. Witnessing compassionate care inspired me to make a difference in others' lives. I love the impact I make through caring for my clients and supporting their healing journeys.

My approach to therapy

My approach

I apply supportive, psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral, and evidence-based psychotherapies along with medication management. I use individualized outcome measures to evaluate your care and modify treatment plans based on your progress, ensuring interventions are tailored to your unique needs.

What you can expect from me

My first session with clients

Expect a relaxing, non-judgmental environment focused on building our therapeutic alliance. You'll have space to verbalize your feelings and goals while staying engaged. We'll practice shared decision-making, discussing treatment options together and setting expectations that honor your preferences and needs.
