Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 10 years of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges and improve their emotional well-being. I earned my PhD in Psychology and have extensive experience providing support to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, caregiver stress, workplace stress, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. Together, we will explore the experiences, patterns, and challenges that may be affecting your well-being while developing practical strategies that can help you create meaningful and lasting change.

I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and solution-focused interventions. I also help clients better understand attachment patterns, strengthen boundaries, improve communication, build self-esteem, and develop healthier ways of managing difficult emotions.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, struggling with past experiences, experiencing relationship or workplace challenges, grieving a loss, or simply trying to determine what comes next in your life, you do not have to navigate it alone. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, growth, and a healthier quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe each person’s experiences are unique, so I tailor treatment to meet you where you are while helping you identify practical steps toward where you want to be.

I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and attachment-based interventions. Together, we may explore how your thoughts, emotions, past experiences, relationships, and behavioral patterns influence your current well-being.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship concerns, workplace stress, caregiver stress, anger, self-esteem challenges, and major life transitions. I also help clients develop healthier boundaries, improve communication, strengthen emotional regulation, and recognize unhealthy or recurring relationship patterns.

My style is warm and supportive while also encouraging growth and accountability. Therapy with me is not simply about discussing what is wrong; it is about helping you understand yourself more deeply, recognize your strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful changes that can extend beyond the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, confidential, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace.

During our first meeting, we will discuss what brought you to therapy, the concerns you would like to address, relevant experiences that may be affecting you today, and what you hope to gain from counseling. We will also identify your strengths, current coping strategies, and areas where you may need additional support.

Together, we will begin developing realistic and meaningful treatment goals tailored to your needs. You can expect to leave the first session with a clearer understanding of how we can work together and the initial steps we can take toward improving your emotional well-being, relationships, coping skills, and overall quality of life.
