Great to meet you!

I believe healing is possible, even after deep or prolonged trauma. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting girls and women who have been impacted by trauma, anxiety, OCD, and/or life transitions. My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, cultural humility, and compassion. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, respected, and understood. For those who desire it, I also offer Christian-integrated therapy, thoughtfully incorporating faith and spiritual values in a clinically ethical and client-centered way. My goal is to walk alongside you with clarity, structure, and hope as you move toward meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), two highly effective, research-supported treatments for trauma, OCD, and anxiety-related concerns. I also draw from attachment-based, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-focused frameworks to meet each client’s unique needs. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all; together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and work to build insight, emotional regulation, and healthier coping strategies. When appropriate, I integrate faith-based principles to support healing of the mind, body, and spirit.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a time to slow down, feel grounded, and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have about the process. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you are not pressured to share more than you are ready to. I will also explain how therapy works, review relevant history, and begin identifying next steps tailored to your needs. Many clients leave their first session feeling heard, validated, and clearer about how therapy can support their healing journey.
