Great to meet you!

  • Biography: I have over 17 years of experience in the mental health field. Before gaining my LCSW license I worked for CADAS in Chattanooga, TN and this is where I gained valuable experience working with patients striving to live a life of recovery. I have vast experience counseling clients with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse and LGBTQIA+ identity concerns. My background enables me to be an extremely effective and compassionate social worker.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy with my clients is first and foremost to listen. I understand that attending therapy takes courage and I respect my clients for taking this step toward their future.

I use a Humanistic approach which is an approach that focuses on free will, self-discovery, and achieving full potential as a human being. Humanistic Therapy looks at everything that makes you who you are and focuses on you as a unique individual and your relationship with the world around you.

What you can expect from me

I educate clients on the different types of therapy (ex: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I encourage clients to explain what they want to change in their life and work together with them to achieve these goals.
