Great to meet you!

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in counseling psychology. My work primarily focuses on supporting women navigating life transitions, including motherhood, pregnancy, and the postpartum period, as well as those experiencing mood disorders, domestic violence, and narcissistic abuse. I also provide ADHD assessments to help clients gain clarity and access the support they need. As a single mom of three, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience into my work, and in my free time, I enjoy slowing down and spending time with my chickens.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded, with a touch of humor to help create a space where you feel comfortable and truly seen. I take a client centered and trauma focused approach, tailoring each session to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. I integrate multiple evidence based modalities including EMDR, DBT, and somatic techniques to support both emotional processing and nervous system regulation. Together, we work to process past experiences, build practical coping skills, and help you move toward healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a relaxed and welcoming conversation where we’ll go over the therapy process, as well as important policies and procedures. We will also complete an intake assessment, which helps me understand your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. This session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of comfort and trust. It also allows space for you to ask questions and determine if I am the right fit for your needs.
