Renetta Weaver

Hi there, I’m so happy you stopped by today. I’m Renetta Weaver and I graduated in 2001

from the University of MD School of Social Work. I passed the clinical social work test in 2005. Whether it was working in the legal system, working with families and children, working in nursing home and hospice care, working in addictions treatment with the military or in private practice my social work career has allowed me to do what I love to do which is helping to empower people to live happy and free.

Feel, deal and heal is my approach to therapy. I always say to my clients I am not trying to make you feel better. I am trying to create a safe environment where you can feel. Although I know that feelings can be painful, once you feel, we can work together to learn how to deal with what you are feeling and then you can heal from what you are feeling. That is my solution-oriented approach to helping you to actually feel better.

In our work together you will feel empowered to live in alignment with your assignment and to be your authentic self.

You will do this by being affirmed in your thoughts and feelings while being challenged to keep what’s working for you while letting go and replacing what’s no longer serving you.

And you will walk away with practical solutions to help you get unstuck and smile from the inside because your head and heart are in agreement.
