I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been a direct care practitioner for over 20 years. As a social worker, I use my diversified background to work with LGBTQ+ individuals and families, and people on spiritual journeys to learn to heal with trauma and multifaceted needs and issues.
I obtained my undergraduate degree in social work from Auburn University (War Eagle) in 1998 and my master’s in social work from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide) in 1999.
I am passionate about empowering individuals and reenergizing the human spirit. Through an integrated approach of mind and body, we collaboratively find strategies that help you meet your needs.
Sessions are provided using traditional approaches, but for clients who desire, therapy can be guided through techniques like narrative therapy using creative techniques. This style has resonated with a variety of individuals, but I especially enjoy seeing my brown sugars thriving after breaking free from limiting beliefs.
