Great to meet you!

Aye there. I’m Rich Houseal, Jr., LCSW, BCD, but most people know me affectionately as “R.Jr.” (RJ). With close to 8 years of experience in evidence-based therapy practices, I specialize in helping clients learn new ways to manage mild depression, anger, anxiety, stress, and other emotional challenges.

My approach to therapy

Be it grief-loss, relationship and/or family issues, life coaching, recent significant life changes, or navigating sexuality and/or gender expression in your personal life and society, my goals are to help you process through these obstacles, and increase your ability to move forward with a positive action plan through short-term therapy. It would be an honor to assist you in obtaining and maintaining a quality of life you deserve.

What you can expect from me

I'm here to support and assist you in your journey in elevating baselines. I look forward to the opportunity to aid you in deciding what life changes you'd like to make, how to best go about making them, and to increase your motivation and confidence to strive toward the results that best serve you. My care approach is solution-oriented and short-term, but the results are aimed to be long-term through processing, reframing, and utilizing helpful and productive interventions.
