Great to meet you!

I’m Ruth Esmeralda Mena, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and bilingual provider (Spanish and English).

My approach to therapy

I specialize in treating individuals across the lifespan who are experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, psychosis, and ADHD. I bring over eight years of diverse experience in community, outpatient, and acute care settings, and I’m compassionate and deeply committed to improving mental health. I also offer remote ADHD testing. Each individual has a unique past, present, and future that will and have shaped them into who they are. I do not believe in prescribing or treating in a "one size fits all." I value and want input and feedback from my patients.

What you can expect from me

I am compassionate, open-minded, holistic, and solution-oriented. I hope that patients leave their appointment feeling like their concerns have been heard and fully addressed, they were respected and not judged, they clearly understand their treatment plan, and they have a more hopeful outlook for their future and present.
