Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Samantha! I am a fully Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S). I have experience working in private practice, group, and private school settings. I received my bachelor's degree in Communication from Texas A&M University in College Station, and I received my Masters in Education in Counseling from the University of Houston. I live happily in Cypress, Texas with my husband, 2 young children, and our goofy dog, Luna.

My approach to therapy

Starting therapy, whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, can often feel overwhelming. My main goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to find relief through the therapeutic process. Drawing from mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and person-centered techniques, I take a holistic approach, understanding that no two people or what they need in therapy is alike. Together, we’ll explore your unique needs and goals in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you, ensuring therapy becomes a tool for self-understanding and growth.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that clients leave our sessions with a deeper understanding of their thought patterns, behaviors, coping skills, and stress-relief strategies. While I can’t promise quick fixes to life’s challenges, I can promise that you will be heard, respected, and supported. I believe in fostering an open, honest therapeutic environment where we work together to challenge negative patterns, set meaningful goals, and hold each other accountable. Through in-between session tasks and ongoing support, my goal is to help you make lasting, positive changes in your life.
