Great to meet you!

I am a Clinical Social Worker with a graduate degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. For the past two decades, I have been advocating for individuals and families struggling with mental health concerns. My work has primarily focused on trauma, and I have provided therapeutic services to a diverse array of individuals of all ages. I am committed to helping people overcome eating disorders, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other stressors that impact our lives.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I am warm, open, encouraging, and direct. I consider myself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and a sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach to counseling. I strongly believe that change can happen at any point in life if one is willing and open to it. My goal is to provide a safe space.

What you can expect from me

I believe that healing is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest caring without judgment. I work cooperatively with my clients to clarify their goals for treatment. Rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all methodology, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs.
