Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sarah Kuretzky, a Licensed Professional Counselor with graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. I work with individuals, couples, and families using a trauma-informed, compassionate, and practical approach. I specialize in anxiety, trauma responses, relationship patterns, emotional regulation, body image, women’s health issues, hormone-related mood changes, sexual dysfunction, parenting stress, and life transitions. My style is collaborative and direct, helping clients reduce shame, build insight, regulate emotions, communicate more clearly, and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, direct, and practical. I integrate CBT, mindfulness, attachment-informed work, emotional regulation skills, and nervous-system regulation to help clients understand their patterns and make realistic changes. I often focus on anxiety, trauma responses, relationship dynamics, body image, women’s health issues, hormone-related mood changes, sexual dysfunction, parenting stress, and life transitions. Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in real life, with a focus on reducing shame, building self-trust, improving communication, and strengthening emotional regulation.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know what brings them to therapy and what they hope will change. I’ll ask about current concerns, relationship patterns, coping strategies, history, strengths, and goals so we can create a clear direction for our work together. My goal is to help clients feel understood while also leaving with a sense of what we can focus on and how therapy can support meaningful, realistic change.
