Great to meet you!

Hellooo, I’m Shanika! I’ve learned that the best therapy happens when you feel safe to show up as your full, authentic self. Clients often share that they feel comfortable, seen, and free from judgment from the very first session — and that’s the kind of therapy environment I strive to create.

My goal is to support you as you find clarity, peace, and grow into who you truly are — or who you’re ready to become.

My approach to therapy

Clients often describe me as a warm, down-to-earth therapist who provides supportive honesty. I believe that’s because I genuinely try to understand my clients, which makes them feel seen and understood. Now if something needs to be named for your growth, I’ll say it...yet always with care and compassion.

In our work together, I’ll help you gain insight and empower you to take action on the things you want to change.

I often blend inner-child work, psycho-education, and attachment-focused exploration to help you better understand shift patterns and build healthy relationships within and around you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you in, what you want to work toward, and the patterns that may be getting in the way. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, clearer about your next steps and hopeful that things can and will get better.

Working with me, you don’t need to have it all figured out — just come as you are and we'll figure the rest out when we meet.
