Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family concentration, I bring 30 years of experience in various capacities which include: Crisis Intervention, Intensive Case Management, Psychotherapy in both Residential, Outpatient and Home-Based Settings I completed the Marsha Lineman Behavioral Tech DBT Intensive Training in 2007 and provided DBT Individual and Skills Trainings groups as part of a DBT Team for 6 years.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing Is facilitated through compassionate listening and validation, while simultaneously encouraging confrontation of barriers to change. The dialectic of acceptance and change serves as the foundation of my approach, recognizing that behaviors seen as "problems" by others are often viewed as "solutions'" to the individual. Allow me to help empower you in embracing your experiences while healing old wounds and building tools for healthier solutions and personal development.

What you can expect from me

Treatment is person-centered, offering a safe, non-judgmental environment that nurtures who you currently are as an individual while helping you identify ineffective patterns of thought and/or behavior that you want to change in striving toward who you want to be.
