Great to meet you!

I’m a therapist who describes herself as warm, direct, humorous, curious, and adaptive in how I build rapport. I work with adults navigating the effects of depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, and relationship issues both interpersonal (with others) and intrapersonal (with yourself). I hold a master’s degree in clinical social work and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and I’ve worked in many settings, including schools, hospitals, crisis services, residential programs, and community‐based care. These experiences have shaped the supportive, grounded way I show up in session. I focus on helping you understand what’s happening in your mind and body while building practical tools you can use in your daily life.

My approach to therapy

I work collaboratively to help you understand stress, anxiety, and the patterns your nervous system has learned over time. My approach blends cognitive strategies with body‐based practices ,CBT and DBT‐informed skills, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and sensory‐based regulation, so you can build tools that actually fit your daily life. I enjoy helping clients understand how the nervous system shapes emotions and behavior, and I often model grounding or regulation practices in session. I ask thoughtful questions, offer clear feedback, and help you set goals that feel meaningful and aligned with what you want for yourself.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a collaborative and supportive space where we focus on what brings you in and what you’ve been experiencing. I’ll ask questions about your history, symptoms, and patterns so we can understand your needs clearly. We’ll also talk openly about your role in the change process and how practicing cognitive and behavioral tools can support your quality of life. I bring humor, creativity, and curiosity into the work, and I encourage you to explore approaches that fit your personality and interests. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and an understanding that meaningful change happens both in and outside of session.
