Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked in the counseling field since 2012, receiving a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from New Mexico Highlands University. I have worked in a variety of settings: Community Clinics, Hospitals, Outpatient Facilities, and Private Practice – focusing on areas of mental health. I also have a Masters of Divinity Degree (MDIV) which has provided me an opportunity to work in the area of grief, loss, and end-of-life issues through chaplaincy and hospice work experience

My approach to therapy

I am committed to providing a holistic approach that is client-centered to individual clients. I journey with clients offering emotional support and coping methods to address a variety of concerns. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, solution-focused therapy, as well as strength-based therapy to meet the goals for emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

What you can expect from me

I want the client(s) to be comfortable, therefore, rapport building is important. I ask client(s) to help me understand their desired goals for Individual or Couples therapy. I also share my goals for the client, i.e., the need for open and honest communication; completion of homework as assigned. I share with clients that my role is to journey and work with each client to meet their mental healthcare needs.
