Great to meet you!

Are you feeling stuck in the same arguments with your partner, overwhelmed by parenting stress, struggling with family conflict, navigating divorce or co-parenting, or feeling exhausted caring for an aging parent? You don't have to face these challenges alone.

I specialize in helping adults, couples, parents, and caregivers strengthen the relationships that matter most. Whether you're seeking couples counseling, marriage counseling, relationship therapy, support for parenting challenges, family conflict, difficult adult children, caregiver stress, workplace relationships, anxiety related to relationship stress, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling confident and hopeful.

As a Columbia University-trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker, author, and creator of the Care Map MethodTM, I use a structured framework that helps identify the biological, emotional, social, and environmental factors contributing to stress and conflict. Together we'll better understand what's happening, improve communication, reduce conflict, and create practical solutions tailored to your unique situation.

My style is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered—with practical tools that help you create meaningful, lasting change in your relationships and everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should do more than provide a place to talk—it should help you better understand yourself, improve your relationships, and leave each session with greater clarity and practical direction.

My approach is collaborative, active, and solution-focused. Together we'll explore not only what's happening in your life, but why certain patterns keep repeating. Once we understand the underlying factors, we can develop strategies that improve communication, reduce conflict, strengthen relationships, and help you move toward the life you want.

I use my Care Map MethodTM, which organizes complex challenges into four important areas: biological, emotional, social, and environmental. This structured approach helps us identify what's contributing to stress, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, caregiver burnout, or life transitions so we can create a personalized plan based on your unique situation.

Together we'll explore the patterns affecting your relationship, marriage, parenting, family conflict, divorce, co-parenting, adult children, caregiver stress, workplace relationships, boundaries, communication difficulties, anxiety, and life transitions, then develop realistic strategies that fit your life.

Whether we're working on couples counseling, parenting, family conflict, divorce, workplace relationships, or caregiver stress, my goal is for you to leave every session feeling more hopeful, more confident, and equipped with practical tools you can begin using right away.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to slow down, understand your story, and begin creating a clear roadmap for moving forward.

We'll discuss what's bringing you to therapy, your goals, your relationships, current stressors, and the patterns that may be contributing to challenges involving couples, marriage, parenting, family conflict, divorce, co-parenting, adult children, caregiving, workplace relationships, anxiety, or major life transitions. I'll ask thoughtful questions to understand both your strengths and the areas where you'd like support.

Using the Care Map MethodTM, we'll begin identifying the biological, emotional, social, and environmental factors influencing your situation so we can focus on the areas that will make the greatest difference.

Before you leave your first session, you'll have a better understanding of what's contributing to the problem, practical strategies you can begin using immediately, and an individualized plan for moving forward. My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, supported, more hopeful, and confident that meaningful change is possible.
