Great to meet you!

I am licensed in Texas, Maine, and Oregon with 19 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & bipolar disorder. I am a holistic therapist and work on helping you by finding ways to recover using skills to improve your Mind, Body, and Spirit. I am also very interested in hearing your story and finding the origins of the problems you are having.

My approach to therapy

I use DBT, CBT, and a person-centered approach to help you learn ways to recover. I believe that you are the expert on your own story and that you possess many strengths that will help you overcome challenges. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. You can take the first and most important step by reaching out for help

What you can expect from me

During our initial meeting, I may pose a range of questions designed to gently uncover the layers of your current experience. These inquiries might touch on why you’ve chosen to seek therapy now, what specific concerns you’re facing, and any relevant aspects of your personal history. Remember that you’re not expected to divulge every detail immediately; this is the beginning of a relationship rooted in trust and mutual respect.
