Great to meet you!

My name is Tori Helm, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, emotional dysregulation, substance use, and life transitions. Including veterans, and first responders. In our first few sessions, you can expect a collaborative process of getting to know you, your story, values, and challenges, while identifying what you hope to change or strengthen. We’ll start to build trust, explore what’s been holding you back, and begin setting goals that feel meaningful and doable.

Committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and culturally responsive space for healing and personal growth. Skilled in conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and utilizing telehealth platforms to increase accessibility and continuity of care. Currently licensed to practice independently in Utah, Alabama, Ohio, Maine, and Colorado.

My approach to therapy

I help clients get to the heart of what’s keeping them stuck while building practical tools to move forward. Whether we’re working through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or recovery-related issues, I tailor treatment to your goals and pace. I use a blend of evidence-based modalities to support clients in navigating life transitions, processing trauma, and managing emotional dysregulation.

What you can expect from me

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and rooted in respect for your lived experiences. I strive to create a space that feels emotionally safe, judgment-free, and empowering. Where you can be honest, feel heard, and begin the work of healing and self-understanding at your own pace. I believe that therapy should not only help you manage symptoms but also increase your sense of agency, self-connection, and resilience. I work with clients to clarify what matters most to them, strengthen emotional regulation, and build the tools needed to move through life with more confidence, clarity, and connection.
