Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you don't have to navigate it alone. I believe that every person brings their own unique story, strengths, and perspective — and my role is to help you build on what's already working while finding new ways to approach what isn't.

Together, we'll explore your goals, break them down into meaningful steps, and move toward the life and well-being you're looking for. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and entirely free of judgment — because growth happens best in a space where you feel safe to be honest.

I work with individual adults from all walks of life, and I'm experienced in supporting people through a wide range of challenges. I also bring specialized experience working with high-performing professionals, including C-Suite executives, attorneys, physicians — people who are often navigating significant pressure and responsibility while managing their own inner world.

Wherever you're starting from, you're welcome here.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Using a Person-Centered framework as my foundation, I tailor treatment to your specific needs, goals, and circumstances — drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities to find what works best for you.

These include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — exploring the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI) — building confidence and clarity around change
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — developing psychological flexibility and living in alignment with your values
  • Solution-Focused Therapy — identifying strengths and practical steps toward your goals
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — building skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness

No single approach fits every person, and I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, we'll work together to find the combination of strategies that resonates with you and supports meaningful, lasting change.

I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. In-person sessions are available for clients located in Wisconsin. Virtual therapy is available for clients in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Utah, Washington, Ohio, Minnesota, and Florida — making it easy to access support from wherever you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about one thing above all else — you feeling comfortable. In our first meeting, we'll start getting to know each other. I'll learn about what brought you to therapy, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping to experience or change. We'll begin identifying what matters most to you — not what a checklist says you should work on, but what feels most significant in your own life.

My priority is building a relationship grounded in trust and genuine safety. I believe that the foundation of meaningful therapy isn't any particular technique or intervention — it's the relationship between therapist and client. When you feel truly heard and supported, that's when real progress becomes possible.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in — and confident that this is a space where you can do the work that matters most to you.
