Great to meet you!

Zaccaheaus (Zacc) Adams is a licensed clinical counselor in both Maryland and North Carolina. Zacc graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with his master's in clinical mental health counseling. He has been effective in providing therapy for many presenting concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem/confidence, trauma, career conflicts, and relationship issues. Zacc has extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, friends, and families. He aims to create a warm and inviting environment that will allow clients to further develop growth and empowerment within themselves. Zacc uses an integrative therapeutic approach to meet each client where they are in each session.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative as I have worked with various client populations, I have developed multilevel approaches to addressing therapeutic needs. I am an active listener by nature which allows for the intertwining of various approaches as we are in the moment processing your growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a grounding, nurturing conversation where they get to show up exactly as they are. We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on them, their hopes for therapy, and what support looks like for them. I’m curious about their story, their strengths, and the patterns they’ve noticed in their life. My goal is always to create a space where they feel safe, understood, and not judged—just accompanied.
