Great to meet you!

I specialize in Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, PTSD, Panic disorder and mood disorders. I also offer ADHD testing for children and adults online and in-person. I offer both medication management and therapy.

My approach to therapy

As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my approach for providing care involves a holistic, patient-centered approach that integrates both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatments. My approach emphasizes on building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, active listening, and empathy, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of my patient's mental, emotional, and social health. I would conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor your progress to ensure that interventions, whether medication or therapy, are effective and appropriate for you. I would collaborate with other healthcare providers, as well as family and community resources in creating a supportive environment for your recovery. Ultimately, my goal is to empower my patients to take an active role in their mental health and well-being, promoting resilience and self-management.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away a deeper understanding of their mental health and the tools to manage it effectively. Through our sessions, you will gain insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, along with strategies for coping with challenges. You'll learn techniques for improving emotional regulation, managing stress, and addressing underlying issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. During our sessions, we will review your current medications, assess their effectiveness, and discuss any necessary adjustments to optimize treatment. I will provide education on how medications work, potential benefits, side effects, and strategies for managing them. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, express concerns, and actively participate in your treatment decisions. Your safety and monitoring are my key components, ensuring that medications are used effectively while minimizing risks. My goal is to empower you with knowledge and confidence in your treatment plan, fostering a path toward improved mental health and stability.
