Great to meet you!

You may be functioning well on the outside while quietly feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unable to slow down.

You may be the person others depend on while quietly feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. At Milton’s Place Counseling, therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, process what you are carrying, and identify practical next steps. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and major life transitions. You do not have to wait until you are in crisis to seek support.

If anxiety, depression, grief, or ongoing stress are making daily life feel harder, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I work with adolescents, adults, and families who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many parents seek support when they notice changes in their teen’s mood, behavior, school functioning, or communication, while adults often come to therapy feeling exhausted, disconnected, or weighed down by life transitions and relationship stress.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. My approach is client-centered, structured, and collaborative. Together, we identify what matters most to you (or your teen), set meaningful goals, and build practical skills that support emotional regulation, confidence, and healthier coping.

I have extensive experience supporting:

  • Adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and emotional overwhelm
  • Parents and families navigating parenting stress, family conflict, and communication challenges
  • Adults managing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship stress
  • Children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and behavioral concerns

I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and stress-reduction techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, improve communication, and develop tools that can be used outside of sessions.

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy should feel supportive, respectful, and empowering. I strive to create a space where adolescents feel heard, adults feel understood, and families gain clarity and direction. If you are looking for practical support, collaboration, and a clear path forward, I invite you to schedule a session through Headway.
