Arika Adams, LCSW is a firm believer in solution-focused, strengths-based, and action-oriented therapeutic approaches. She has had over a decade of experience working with children and families who have experienced trauma, including significant work with adoptive parents — particularly those adopting older children — and families struggling with addiction.

Trained in EMDR, Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, her goal is to help you feel empowered to make the decisions you feel will help you live your best life.

At your first appointment, you’ll review items you want to work on, and set goals together to make a plan forward. The overarching goal is to help you feel supported and encouraged, never judged, for pursuing what is best for you.
