Great to meet you!

Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Ebele Ekwenugo, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents, adults, and older adults. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related symptoms, sleep difficulties, and other mental health concerns.

I became a psychiatric provider because I am passionate about helping people feel heard, supported, and empowered to improve their quality of life. It is a privilege to partner with each patient as they work toward greater emotional well-being, stability, and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care

I view mental health care as a collaborative partnership between the patient and provider, with family involvement when appropriate and authorized by the patient. I take time to understand your symptoms, experiences, strengths, medical history, treatment preferences, and personal goals before developing an individualized plan.

My approach is holistic, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based. Depending on your needs, treatment may include medication management, patient education, supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, and practical lifestyle recommendations. I value shared decision-making and want you to feel informed and actively involved in your care.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where your concerns are taken seriously. I listen with empathy, communicate clearly, and encourage you to ask questions throughout the treatment process.

During our appointments, we will review your concerns, discuss appropriate treatment options, and establish realistic goals together. I will monitor your response to treatment, address possible side effects, and adjust the plan when clinically appropriate. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and confident in the decisions we make about your mental health care.
