Great to meet you!

As a passionate mental health professional, I specialize in guiding adults through their healing journeys, particularly focusing on trauma recovery. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Utah State University and have 9 years of experience working as a licensed clinical social worker in various settings, including community mental health clinics and private practice. Additionally, I have extensive experience in telehealth, providing accessible support to clients from the comfort of their homes, as well as serving as a crisis worker in emergency rooms and health care settings.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and evidence-based techniques, allowing me to create a safe and nurturing environment for my clients. I understand that navigating challenges such as depression and anxiety can be overwhelming, which is why I work collaboratively with individuals to explore their feelings and experiences. Together, we will build resilience and foster personal growth, empowering you to overcome obstacles and lead a fulfilling life.

I am committed to tailoring my treatment to meet your unique needs and background, ensuring that you feel heard and supported throughout our journey together. Whether you are facing past traumas or current stressors, I am here to help you achieve your goals and unlock your potential.

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is grounded in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which assists clients in developing skills to manage trauma. I also utilize Solution-Focused Therapy, guiding clients to concentrate on their strengths and potential solutions. Additionally, I incorporate Mindfulness Therapy, helping clients enhance their awareness of thoughts, feelings, emotions, and surroundings to foster better mental health.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to gain valuable skills during our sessions that will help them improve their coping strategies for responding to triggers, reminders, and emotions related to their traumatic experiences. We'll focus on solution-building by enhancing existing skills and strengths to achieve their therapy goals. Additionally, we'll incorporate mindfulness practices, which have been shown to enhance overall mental health, daily functioning, and quality of life.
