Great to meet you!

Hi there, my name is Jessica or Jess.

I am here to work with you and be your support, to help you discover things more deeply, so that you can move your life in the direction you want it to go.

I am a single mother to an 11-year-old, with 4.5 years in the USAF, and a Master of Arts in Counseling, a Master of Philosophy in Theology, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. I bring both lived experience and professional training to my work.

I believe today can be the first step towards a better you. Contact me today so we can get started. I look forward to meeting you soon!

My approach to therapy

I work to empower individuals towards being authentic, whole beings. I use a strengths-based approach to help find the silver lining. Research has shown that physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being all play equally significant roles and our livelihood. Therefore, I have made the holistic approach my central modality when it comes to therapy.

My style is purposefully eclectic to best serve your needs as a client. I strongly believe in a collaborative process in designing counseling experiences. You are the expert on you, and the techniques we will use may change depending on your style and needs. Every individual is unique, and no one orientation will serve all.

What you can expect from me

Together, we can explore your present and past to help you understand your behaviors, patterns, and relationships. From this change can begin. I will meet you where you are at and work with you to support you with achieving the life you want to live.

Your first visit will be a collaborative experience of sharing information, identifying goals, and building trust. I want you to feel safe, seen, heard, and empowered as you move through the natural process of finding meaning, healing, and hope.
