Great to meet you!

Do you feel like you’re holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or stuck on the inside? If anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress, or major life transitions are making it harder to feel like yourself, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I’m Sara Roesler, MSW, MPH, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience helping adults navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change. My background in clinical social work and public health allows me to look beyond symptoms and understand the many factors that influence emotional well-being.

Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who are doing their best but feel overwhelmed or unsure how to move forward. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress, relationship challenges, burnout, and life transitions. I also support individuals adjusting to new diagnoses or seeking greater stability and balance.

My approach is warm, supportive, and strengths-based. I believe each person has strengths, values, and abilities that can be built upon to create positive change. Together, we focus on developing insight, practical coping strategies, and tools to help you feel more confident and in control.

In addition to my clinical work, I have extensive healthcare leadership experience and understand the pressures of demanding careers, caregiving, and major life changes.

I hold an MSW from the University of Kansas and an MPH from Boston University. I am independently licensed in Massachusetts, North Carolina, Maine, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions, learn about my approach, and decide whether we may be a good fit. If it feels right, we can schedule your first session.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, and strengths-based. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where we can slow down, better understand what you’re experiencing, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Together, we’ll build on the strengths you already have, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to the life you want to create.

Therapy can be a safe space to feel heard, gain clarity, and work through life’s challenges with support. You don’t have to navigate difficult moments, transitions, or uncertainty alone.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to slow down, feel heard, and begin sharing what has been weighing on you. We’ll take time to understand your experiences, what brings you to therapy, and what you would like to feel or experience differently.

Together, we’ll explore your goals, identify areas where you may feel stuck or overwhelmed, and begin creating a plan that feels supportive and manageable. When helpful, we may introduce practical tools and strategies to help you feel more grounded, build coping skills, and navigate challenges with greater confidence.

Therapy is a space where you don’t have to carry everything on your own. We’ll work together to build clarity, resilience, and a greater sense of balance.
