Welcome! My name is Abby and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Chicago. We all experience seasons in life where we require extra support and care. Seeking help through therapy is a courageous first step and I’m glad you’re here.
I completed my clinical training at the University of Illinois (UIC) and have been practicing since 2019. I use an integrative, trauma-responsive, and relationship-oriented approach in my practice.
Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. We will work as partners in your therapeutic journey to address your specific needs and concerns. My experience includes working with clients who are processing trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, relationship issues, major life adjustments, and grief/loss, among other concerns. I strive to be culturally-affirming and inclusive of all identities in my practice. In our work, you will be treated as a person, not a patient.
You can expect an affirming, warm, and respectful experience in therapy where your self-determination is prioritized. My process involves supporting your exploration of how past experiences and relationships impact the present. You will learn self-regulation, communication, and relational skills to better care for your emotional states and connect more authentically to others.
