Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with a background shaped by my South Asian Muslim identity and my commitment to culturally sensitive care. I hold advanced training in trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict and relationship issues. My professional experience includes community mental health, outpatient clinics, and private practice. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds, especially those navigating cultural identity, intergenerational trauma and relational challenges. My goal is to provide a compassionate, understanding space where everyone feels seen and valued.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, person-centered approach grounded in evidence-based methods. Therapy with me is a safe, supportive space where you can openly explore your feelings, experiences and patterns without judgment. Together, we tailor the work to your unique story and goals, using effective tools that work for you. I believe healing happens through connection, insight, and developing practical skills to navigate life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to leave our sessions feeling more understood and supported, with greater clarity about your experiences and patterns. Many find new ways to cope with anxiety, depression, trauma or family stress and begin to heal old wounds. You’ll also build skills to strengthen relationships and make choices that align more closely with your values. Ultimately, therapy is about helping you feel more connected to yourself and empowered to live the life you want.
