Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Alan Romano. I am an LCSW and have been providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups for over 6-years in South Florida. I love the work that I do because I get to sit in a room with another human and remember what it means to be human together. I graduated from a one year post graduate program to become a certified psychedelic assisted therapy provider. The training was phenomenal and very trauma informed and focused.

My approach to therapy

I work with client's through the lens that we all have an inner healing intelligence, an innate drive towards wholeness. Through my perception, the emotional wounding we experience throughout life, disconnects us from that part of our selves. I work to facilitate each individuals reconnection to their own inner healing intelligence. Additionally, self-determination is one of my highest values, so I only want to work on what the client wants to work on.

What you can expect from me

I aim to collaboratively create a vessel in which the client's I work with can enter and feel safe to be vulnerable and be in their emotions. Many client's come in to my office and sit down and just start to tell me their narrative of pain. I'm shocked when I hear the painful memories that they are sharing without showing the emotion that I can feel in the room with them. I invite and encourage clients to feel and not just share.
