Great to meet you!

I earned my MS degree from CSUDH and have been licensed and working in private practice since 2019. I treat women who have been impacted by their families of origin and have subsequently struggled in their relationships. My clients tend to have alcoholic, narcissistic, emotionally immature, or absent parents. My father was an alcoholic and absent for the majority of my life, so I want to help women with similar experiences to know that they can heal and lead very fulfilling lives.

My approach to therapy

I take a cognitive behavioral and attachment-based approach to empower women, help them heal from their past, and foster healthier relationships. I like to tell my clients that I have a casual, authentic style and that I am just the passenger guiding them toward their destination! There will always be a goal to work toward, but most importantly, I would make sure that you feel safe and comfortable.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I review a questionnaire, gather as much information about you as I can, and we will establish clear goals to work toward. For example, we will talk about how to increase your self-worth, self-esteem, assess how to implement boundaries with others, and learn ways to communicate. I typically offer clients coping and communication skills in the first session. For many, the overall goals are to learn how to build healthier relationships or gain the courage to leave unhealthy ones.
