Great to meet you!

I have been licensed in California for 3 years and have 10 years of working experience in the mental health field working with adults experiencing moderate to severe and persistent mental health challenges in the Santa Barbara area. I was the program director for the past 6 years at a local non profit where I was able to lead teams and see my own caseload of clients which provided a unique and well rounded education. As a clinician my approach is open, warm and person centered.

My approach to therapy

My overall style is to use gentle encouragement mixed with psycho education and person centered tailoring to meet your unique and specific needs. I utilize interventions from various orientations including CBT, Humanistic, and Motivational interviewing. I believe that successful therapy starts with good rapport!

What you can expect from me

Through curiosity, patience and acceptance I hope that folks walk away from our sessions learning more about who they are and becoming more empowered and confident in creating their own paths in life. I also hope to teach symptom management skills in our sessions that can be useful for folks in the now or down the road. I do not currently take clients referred by their EAP or provide letters for therapy animals or state disability.
