Great to meet you!

As an independently licensed counselor (LPC), I received my bachelor's degree in psychology and Spanish from Arizona State University and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Gonzaga University. I believe that having awareness into our own behaviors and emotions will greatly improve our satisfaction and stability in life. I have experience in community mental health addressing topics of grief, anxiety, boundary work, interpersonal relationships, and cultural complexities.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy from a person-centered and CBT viewpoint. In my approach I encourage client insight and growth through validation and directness to achieve their identified goals. Every person and their story is different, and my approach may shift depending on your needs as a client.

What you can expect from me

We'll start the first session as an introduction where we'll go over limits of confidentiality and counseling limits and expectations. During this session we will begin to get to know one another, and you'll begin to share your story and what you hope to achieve through counseling. I aim to provide a space that is warm, welcoming and secure for you to feel comfortable becoming emotionally vulnerable. We'll work together on reaching the goals you have for your mental health and adjust them as you need along the way. I look forward to meeting and work with you!
