Great to meet you!

Thank you for choosing to learn more about my practice. I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years! I am passionate about my work as a therapist and I am always excited to welcome new and seasoned clients to my practice.

I am particularly invested in working to de-stigmatize mental health, specifically, talk therapy, in Black and Brown communities. I have worked to connect with women and minorities for the better half of my career, which continues to motivate me everyday!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize a client-first approach to care. While I tend to use a Cognitive Behavioral and IFS approach to start, I am always looking to offer a individualized treatment experience by pulling from various therapy models. There is no ‘cookie cutter’ way of doing things here, and your individual needs to achieve growth are the top priority!

What you can expect from our first session

After initial onboarding, the first question you can expect from me will be pertaining to your treatment plan goals.

Once the goals for treatment are established, we will spend some time focusing on building trust within our relationship. From there, the work begins. Along the way, you can expect assignments/exercises for outside of therapy, education, and hopefully some laughs along the way.

It is my goal to provide not only effective care, but personalized goal oriented care.
