Great to meet you!

I’m an independently licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with teens, families, and adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. My professional background includes extensive clinical work in both individual and family settings, where I’ve supported clients in addressing complex emotional patterns, strengthening relationships, and healing from past experiences. I draw from my training in family systems and attachment theory to understand how early relationships and environments shape present-day thoughts, behaviors, and connections.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, warm, and collaborative, grounded in curiosity, humor, and a nonjudgmental stance so you feel safe, respected, and truly heard. I integrate evidence-based practices—including CBT, IFS, attachment-based therapy, and emotional regulation skills—through a trauma-informed lens. I help clients make sense of overwhelming emotions, improve communication, and understand their internal “parts” to reduce inner conflict. My goal is to support meaningful, lasting change that feels authentic and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive space where we begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship at a pace that feels comfortable. I take time to understand what brings you to therapy, explore current concerns, and learn more about your history, strengths, and goals. My focus is on creating a collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and not judged, while also gaining clarity about what you want to work on.

Together, we begin identifying initial goals and areas of focus, whether that’s reducing distress, improving relationships, understanding emotions, or working through past experiences.
